Rory McClure’s response to Joel Barder's article on the en website steps into a minefield so I admire his bravery. He pushes all the right buttons in what he writes so that at first sight it seems difficult to disagree with him.
It all sounds eminently reasonable and Biblical but my difficulty is that he simply fails to address Joel Barder’s two main concerns––that Christians should recognise Zionism is not racism, and that they should recognise the Islamist determination to destroy Israel is a demonic goal of destroying their witness to Yahweh’s existence and His faithfulness.
