Professional footballer Antoine Semenyo has been baptised on Bournemouth beach.
The 26-year-old publicly declared his faith by sharing his baptism video on Instagram, in a “2025 highlights post” in which he wrote, in the caption: “… I thank you, God, for your protection, your blessings and your work over my life.”
At the end of the video, he can be seen with a huge smile on his face. Semenyo plays as a winger or midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City, having recently signed from Bournemouth. Born in England, he plays for the Ghana national team.
