Jesus depended on the Holy Spirit, too

Healing the sick. Walking on water. Raising the dead. Where does a human obtain such power? When answering this question, it’s common to think of it in two ways.

On the one hand, we have Jesus, by Himself. He is truly human but also truly God, with all the power and authority inherent of God. Jesus is the only human with the ability to accomplish miracles in His own strength.

On the other, we have everyone else – Peter, Paul, or the disciples – who accomplished the same kinds of miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1v8).
