The article: “Stop apologising for being a complementarian!” (en online, May 2026) got me thinking – I am pretty sure I have never heard anyone apologise for being a complementarian.
If, as the article implied, a commitment to complementarity leads to hierarchy rather than mutuality, and to insisting on subordination rather than encouraging voluntary mutual submission, then may I suggest that there could be another way to see things?
