My wife and I belong to St John’s CofE church in Yeovil. We have found that the provision of Jesus-centred books on the bookstall is proving extraordinarily popular. This has been really helped by the church card reader having a bookstall option.
The books are carefully selected from a leading Christian bookseller, with the most expensive currently being £8.00. Over the past couple of years we have had titles by authors such as Lewis, Keller, Ryle and Patricia St. John. The bookstall is a real gathering point for regulars and newcomers to chat and browse. For books that do not sell as rapidly we reduce the price and at present have a number of titles for 10p.
