Dear Editor,
I thought Richard Underwood’s interview with John Woods, in the August issue of en, addressing the increasing number of youngsters growing up minus a father was very helpful.
Please accept that I am “teasing” when I say that his comment, “It is fair to assume that Joseph died, leaving Jesus and His brothers fatherless.” forgets that Jesus had sisters too! (see Matt. 13v56). They too were fatherless and probably even more aware of the loss of their “protector”. (See John’s answer to the final question).
