Christian organisation Living Out has unveiled a new website and suite of resources which it says have been created to help people, churches and society talk about faith and sexuality.
Ed Shaw, the group’s Director told en: ‘The website is especially designed to help all who have questions about Christian faith and sexuality to find Biblical answers and inspiring stories of same-sex attracted Christians who are living according to traditional Biblical teaching. It is accessible for everyone, from those who have no church background at all and wouldn’t describe themselves as Christian, through to church leaders. Our previous site had 1.2 million visitors last year and we hope this new website will be even more popular with those who experience same-sex attraction themselves, and also for the wider church and culture.’
Gavin Calver, CEO of the Evangelical Alliance, said: ‘I love all that Living Out do in seeking to serve and support those living with same- sex attraction who also want to remain faithful to their Christian convictions.’
The new site incorporates fresh new branding, a completely overhauled navigation and lots of new resources. There are eight main categories of resource: Bible; Same-sex attraction; Friends and family; Sexuality; Singleness and marriage; Culture; Identity; and Church. The navigation allows users to find exactly what they are looking for and be able to filter results by media type, author, read time and subject.
The new website carries endorsements from Christopher Ash, Sydney Archbishop Glenn Davies, Moorlands College Principal, David Hilborn and Rico Tice among many others.
