Duncan Woods has been appointed as the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches’ (FIEC’s) Director for the North East. Woods joins a team of 13 local directors led by FIEC Associate National Director Graham Beynon.

Beynon said he is “delighted” that Woods is joining the team: “He brings lots [of] experience in local church ministry in the North East and so is ideal for this role.”

Woods has been the pastor of Trinity Church Sunderland for 13 years. He is also on the steering committee of the North East Gospel Partnership and is a Crosslands tutor in the region. Woods will be serving the FIEC in this role one day a week, seconded from his ministry at Trinity Church.
