Reading David Shepherd’s comment article on Calvin’s acronym T.U.L.I.P. in the January en was for me most illuminating. Thank you David.
I could not but be reminded of the common reply in vogue at the moment when one is asked ‘How are you?’
‘Good, thank you’ infuriates me, especially coming from believers, because it is simple a denial of our fallen state. Please, if anyone reading this falls into the temptation (or trap) of making this reply, think first!
