Dear Editor,
Why is it that some of your reviewers who are married have to put ‘clergy wife’ or ‘pastor’s wife’ at the end of their piece? Surely their acumen doesn’t have to be qualified by stating who they are wedded to.
I have yet to see ‘husband of …writer/ theologian/teacher’.
