Obviously from your June front page article in en it is evident that Yorkshire with 5.5 million people is desperately in need of the gospel – large areas without large evangelical churches.
I also would refer you to the latest magazine edition of Outreach UK and Counties – both organisations sending out evangelists have seen an influx of new evangelists this year which is good news. Both magazines have a map of England and show where their evangelists are working. The result is that Yorkshire, according to the magazines, has no evangelist with either organisation.
So it seems we need to highlight the needs of Yorkshire more than once this year in en and raise prayer that evangelists will be sent into the harvest field of Yorkshire, whether as a church plant or an individual evangelist’s ministry.
