A town that had everything… except a gospel-preaching church

Church planter and writer Seth Lewis is in no doubt about what Ireland’s growing towns need most.

“Carrigtwohill is a lovely community," he says. “It was a small village for a very long time, yet now it is just booming with growth. They can't build houses fast enough… There are new schools, there are shops, there are sports clubs, there's a huge industrial park that's expanding. They're building a new train station. Everything is coming here.

“The community has everything that a community should have, except that for all of its long history, Carrigtwohill did not have a local church faithfully preaching the gospel. So, the church that we've planted here is, as far as we know, the first evangelical church that this community has ever had.”
