Moses leads Sinai Bible trek

A Bible translation leader has hiked to the top of Mount Sinai – guided by Moses!

Steve Lancaster, director of Bible translation organisation The Word for the World UK, was doing a sponsored climb to raise funds to buy 10,000 Bibles for the Sena people of Malawi (one, pictured, is seen receiving a Bible after the walk).

“My Bedouin guide, whose name happened to be Moses, was exceptional, and we had some great conversations with regard to the differences between Islam and Christianity,” said Lancaster.

The climb raised £36,000 – enabling 10,000 Bibles to be bought for the Sena.
