A packed venue of around 300 on each of four nights in April, the enthusiastic singing of great hymns, the joy of fellowship of likeminded churches, an extensive bookstall, and a faithfully biblical and engaging speaker – it must be Derby Bible Week (DBW), writes David Fielding, chairman.
For many Christians in Derby and the surrounding area, DBW is definitely a highlight in the year.
Our speaker this year was Dr Andrew Sach from Grace Church Greenwich. Andrew combined his winsome preaching and interactive lecturing skills to the full to take us through the four sermons preached in 520BC that make up the Book of Haggai.
