Large numbers of evangelicals from Wales and beyond are gathering for this year's Aber Conference.

The event, co-ordinated by the Evangelical Movement of Wales (EMW), has as its speakers David Meredith, who is Mission Director for the Free Church of Scotland, as well as Gerard Hemmings, Paul Williams, Mostyn Roberts, Stephen Clark and Dyfan Williams.

Writing on the conference website, James Allan, conference chair, says: 'The highlight of each day is the preaching of God’s Word and I am pleased to welcome as our main speaker David Meredith who from Tuesday to Friday will be speaking to us on the theme of Reviving Revivals.'

The conference also has fellowship groups, including Extra Time (for 16–22-year-olds), Take Time (for those in their twenties and thirties), Time Out (for those in middle age) and Prime Time (for those in the prime of life), as well as children’s and family programmes.

There is also a mission exhibition and various workshops. The event runs from 10 – 17 August and is centred round Aberystwyth University.
