The Evangelical Book Shop, Belfast, is celebrating 100 years of ministry!
W. J. Grier – in 1927 a founding father of the Irish Evangelical Church, later the Evangelical Presbyterian Church – was appointed the first manager of the Book Shop on 1 October 1926.
During the Northern Ireland “troubles”, there were four instances of bomb damage. A new website, evangelicalbooks.com, was launched in June 2025. A Centenary service at Stranmillis Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Belfast, is being held on 27 November at 7:30pm, with Sinclair Ferguson as guest speaker.
