This lecture is given for those who find the idea of apologetics scary because they are neither intellectual nor articulate. Boanerges surveys the field of apologetics both through history and in its contemporary expressions. Building on recent developments that see apologetics as wider than reasoning people into the Kingdom, the author proposes what he calls a “holistic apologetics” that retains persuasive speech but broadens the remit to embrace lifestyle, the arts, doing justice, and the exercise of spiritual gifts.
