CARM

CARM is a non-profit, non-denominational, multi-staffed Christian apologetics ministry that supports evangelism and radio outreach, and provides full-time support for several foreign missionaries.
CARM stands for the Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry. Where do you go when you’re asked a difficult question by an unbeliever or even a curious brother or sister in Christ? We of course consult the Bible, but often we need the help of those who have gone before us and studied the text for its interpretation and application.
CARM is such a website. It has articles, videos, and a radio show dedicated to evangelism, apologetics, and answering difficult questions. CARM was founded and is contributed to often by Matt Slick, an American pastor and author.
One feature I liked in particular is the ‘One Minute Videos’. They take a topic such as ‘What is the Bible?’ and spend a minute answering the questions: bite-sized, helpful information for non-Christians and Christians alike.
In addition, CARM has a ‘school’, an online learning centre that offers the opportunity to learn theology, apologetics, and critical thinking. This could be an option for those who don’t have the time to commit to an educational system’s course, but want to learn in their own time for very little cost.
I also enjoyed reading some of the TV and film reviews. The subject of secular entertainment is much debated. I found the reviews helpful, as they were written through the lens of the Christian worldview.
With seemingly endless information and answers, CARM is a great tool for budding apologists!
