TV man’s faith

British antiques expert David Harper – known for his presence on shows such as Bargain Hunt and Flog It! – has become a Christian after witnessing his daughter’s conversion.

Harper’s daughter, Hetti, after suffering from mental ill-health, turned to church and gave her life to Jesus. Over the next 15 months, Harper witnessed what he described to The Christian Post as “mind-boggling” changes.

After an 11-month investigation, Harper became intellectually convinced Christianity was true. Later, a John Lennox video reminded him of his daughter’s transformation, and that was when it emotionally clicked, he described. “I realised: It was Jesus Christ who had literally saved my daughter’s life … I just fell to my knees and realised … it was Him – it was Jesus,” the TV personality said.
