Many students have started university, and the importance of identifying as a Christian on campus by joining a Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship, or similar ministry, cannot be exaggerated.
My parents made lifelong friends in the Oxford and Cambridge Christian Unions, my mother being the last survivor of her particular group of friends and, with the death of Timothy Dudley-Smith, the last of my father’s friendship circle.
