In response to the article about the Queen and her faith in Jesus I felt (May en) compelled to write.
On 2 June 1953, the Queen made her Coronation oath before God and before the people. The archbishop asked the Queen: ‘Will you to the utmost of your power maintain the Laws of God and the true profession of the gospel? Will you to the utmost of your power maintain in the United Kingdom the Protestant Reformed Religion established by law?’
