Anne Alexander`s letter re Mindfulness (en December) concerns me. The original meaning of mindfulness has patterns to do with observation: focusing on the body and thoughts or outwards. It may involve being nonjudgmental.
Most relaxation techniques fit into this pattern. They are relaxation techniques and nothing more. When Transcendental Meditation appeared it was obvious to Christians that it was an occultic activity. However today the word ‘mindfulness’ has been hijacked to describe similar dangerous techniques: subtly-deluding occultic practices which counterfeit true spiritual experiences and lead away from God.
Satanic inroads to society and the church today are legion. Cultural Marxism aims at the complete removal of Christianity from Western-type nations based on Alice Bailey the Theosophist`s 1948 ten-point plan. This is to:
1. Take God and prayer out of the educational system;
2. Reduce parental authority over children;
3. Destroy the traditional Judeo-Christian family structure;
4. Make abortion legal and easy;
5. Make divorce easy and legal, free people from the concept of marriage for life;
6. Make homosexuality an alternative lifestyle;
7. Debase art, make it run mad;
8. Use media to change mindset;
9. Create an interfaith movement;
10. Get government to make all this law and the church to endorse them.

A consideration of EU images shows they are scriptural symbols denoting the satanic realm e.g the woman on the beast (Revelation 17). They can be found in sculpture, on banknotes and stamps. In 1964 Britain had such a stamp. In our local town a sculpture of a falling star has appeared. Why a falling star? (Revelation 9.1?). Viewing the Grammys awards is to see satanic messages. Crazy?
Attempts at delusion today are many, 2 Thessalonians 2.9f, and sent by God because of a refusal to love the Truth. And the church? Matthew 25.1f – sadly, alarmingly, mostly asleep.
