Church planting

Dear Sir,

I'm writing in response to Paul Hinton's letter about church planting in our council estates and urban areas (Sick Church Plants, December en). I agree that there is a big need in these areas and encouraging people to plant in our most needy contexts is challenging.

There are, however, many other churches and believers with the same concern, so Paul is not on his own. Personally, I’'m seeking to encourage church planting in the urban West Midlands (Black Country, Sandwell and West Birmingham) and would love to hear from readers who might be interested in the needs of this part of the country.
