A Christian couple sentenced to five years behind bars for an attempted conversion have been granted bail and will be released once all required paperwork is completed.

CSW said that the charges should never have been brought against Sheeja and Jose Pappachan and they are urging the authorities to repeal anti-conversion laws immediately.
