More than 5,500 people have attended the third ‘Jesus Festival’ in Paray-le-Monial, France.

The Christian festival featured music from several French and international artists including rock group Glorious, Mirella, MLK Worship, Hopen, Dévotion, Noah Mungongo, and Sandra Kouame, Australian group PlanetShakers and solo artist, Dan Luiten.

The festival primarily uses its five stages to showcase Christian musical artists, but it also catered for other interests, with games, children’s shows and creative masterclasses also hosted at the event.

The festival began in 2022, when it hosted 3,800 people. It was inspired by a dream shared by Christian friends in 2017 to create a major Christian music festival in France which would see Christians from all walks of life come together, inspired by God and music.

Next year’s event has been moved back slightly to coordinate its dates with the Big Church Festival in England, enabling the two events to share artists, who will be able to travel from one event to the other.
