Pro-life account blocked

The March for Life UK account on social media platform X, used to organise the anti-abortion protest, was locked just days before the event.

A screenshot shared by organisers showed X had banned the account for “graphic violence or adult content." However, the content in question was a photo of an unborn child in the womb, and had already been on the account for months.

The account was then reinstated and was visible, but the account holders said they could not post anything about the upcoming march. As a result, the account was not able to post in the two days leading up to the march, nor were they able to update on the day or react to the march in the days after.
