Jim McMaster of Daylight Christian Prison Trust has been recognised as a ‘Hidden Hero’ of the North East Prisons Group.
His work both in prison and with ex-offenders and others living on the streets was commended at a special event. Daylight’s West Yorkshire Team have received an award at a gathering with prisons minister Lord Timpson.

Joel Higson has been commissioned as the new associate pastor at Moorlands Church in Lancaster.
Under the leadership of senior pastor Danny Rurlander, Joel will be focusing on midweek adult discipleship and co-ordinating the Moorlands Ministry Training Scheme. Higson studied at Lancaster University 2007–2010, during which time he was a church member.
