Dave Newton has become the new leader of Scripture Union (SU) England and Wales, replacing Myles MacBean, who had served at SU for five years.
His appointment had been confirmed in December, and he has now officially started working in the role, with SU’s main focus being working with local churches to ‘reveal Jesus to the 95% of children who are not connected to churches’. Dave moves into the role having previously been the Principal at Regents Theological College and Director of Training for Elim UK.
