Independent evangelicals, Vineyard Church members, New Wine Cymru and Anglican evangelicals are coming together to study the Bible in a new initiative.

Prisca – a hub-based movement launched in 2021 – has now expanded to offer a two-year programme bringing together all sorts of preachers, Bible teachers and speakers, to be ‘encouraged, inspired, equipped and developed’.

The programme is open to all through recorded and live teaching and resources and gives space to learn from communicators such as Mark Meynell, Clare Williams, Chris Wright, Lucy Peppiatt and Simon Ponsonby.

Jonathan Thomas, pastor of Cornerstone Church Abergavenny, Pastoral Dean for Union School of Theology, and a member of the FIEC Trust Board said: ‘By concentrating on gospel priorities and working through the “Text to Talk” programme of studying, praying and grappling with how to effectively communicate the Scriptures, we found our own hearts warmed, challenged and communication of God’s word improved.’ Prisca is named after the New Testament woman also called Priscilla.
