A teenager whose video went viral after arguing with his teacher that there are only two genders will not be allowed to return to the school where he filmed the confrontation.
The 17-year-old, called Murray by his teacher on the film published online, has not been permanently excluded. According to an Aberdeenshire council spokesperson ‘the young man … has reached the end of time in compulsory education’, which in Scotland is 16.
