After sharing the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus said: “Go and do likewise.” That is the mission of Samaritan’s Purse (SP) – to follow the example of Christ, working with the local church to demonstrate the love of God to people in need around the world.
SP are probably best known for their Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal – which is a wonderful way to get people involved in giving – yet their work goes far beyond that.
