The team at GodTube say that on their website you’ll find daily inspirational videos to lift your spirits and encourage you in your walk with God.
Now I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m not the biggest fan of Christian movies. Not because I don’t like the message or the morals that they portray, but because they are (usually) not very good.
GodTube is basically a Christian YouTube. It has videos of worship, Christian comedy, and even cute animal videos. The site also has a newsletter, a daily devotional, and a Christian artist directory.
Just like YouTube, you can also create a profile and upload videos. Presumably, the site admins will vet your video before it is published to ensure its appropriateness.
The site is free, but has a lot of ads; and not Christian ones. They’re not inappropriate, but in my browsing, I saw ads for shoes, hotels, dog beds, and knee pain relief!
The site is very basic (it reminds me of browsing myspace in my early teens). However, it is perfectly usable.
I’ll be honest, this isn’t my cup of tea, but many will find enjoyment and encouragement.
