5 MINUTES AND A COFFEE

This podcast describes itself as being geared towards strengthening Christians all over the world.

‘5 Minutes’ (sometimes less) gives honest, bite-sized reflections on issues we probably don’t think about enough, such as our spiritual health, or being rested enough.

The podcast is hosted by Jerry Brevil. I couldn’t find much on Brevil and the podcast has not posted since November 2022.

The podcast focuses on our Christian spiritual health. It takes a serious tone, but one I feel is warranted when speaking about such important subjects.

The episode I listened to was Once I Find Salvation, Will I Have Salvation Forever? This was a really interesting one, as you do find differing views on this doctrine. Brevil explained that obedience to God and fruits of salvation dictate whether we can be sure of our salvation. Thankfully, we have a gracious God who guarantees our salvation through the sealing of the Holy Spirit.

I am interested to listen to more material from Brevil to see how he handles other tough and important questions.

I think podcasts like this are important, as these are questions we may often ask ourselves. Does God really love us? What do I do about past hurts and pain?

This podcast is bite-sized enough to enjoy over a cup of tea or coffee, but deep enough to sink your teeth into.
