This podcast says of itself: ‘Monday through Friday, this devotional podcast features thoughtful reflections on the Christian life and our relationship with God.’

Ferguson is a Scottish theologian known for his teaching, writing and editorial work. He has been Chancellor’s Professor of Systematic Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary since 2017.

These podcasts are short and sweet; but they get you thinking. ‘Thoughtful Reflections’ is a very good description of the daily snippet offered by Ferguson.

The episode I listened to was about remembering and the rhythm of the Sabbath. It was an insightful and helpful reminder of the call of God on each of us to find time to rest.

Ferguson has a deep, calming and fatherly voice that helps you to believe and to truly reflect on what he is saying.

Ironically (especially since the episode I listened to was about the Sabbath), many of us neglect to properly rest or take time to reflect. This podcast, at only seven minutes long, is short enough that any of us should be able to commit to having an often much-needed weekday encouragement.
