Fervr is a Christian youth website originally created by Youthworks that publishes daily articles, reviews and video content for teens.
As a youth leader for many years, every so often you scratch your head during the school holidays pondering on what the theme should be for the next term of the youth group.
Fervr (which I presume is a contracted, cool version of the word ‘fervour’), is aiming to put Bible studies, articles and videos into the hands of young Christians.
The articles range from subjects like technology to sex, and the website boasts it has over 2,000 articles and videos. There are many contributors to the site, but a promise from Fervr that all articles and videos are vetted.
There is also Fervr Plus. This is primarily for youth leaders and gives either one or five (depending on the subscription) access to videos by famous pastors, study guides for Bible books and a games directory. Two options are given: ‘Essential’ which is $12 a month for one-person access; or $25 a month for five-person access. The content is the same.
On a read of a few articles, the content is solid and (I can imagine) helpful to young people asking big questions about life and the Bible.
In this ever-changing world, we need to ensure that the youth of our day are well equipped with the gospel and Biblical foundations. Fervr is trying to do that one article and video at a time.
