Bear Grylls: Brand's conversion is 'heartfelt'

Adventurer, ex-soldier and Christian, Bear Grylls says he believes celebrity Russell Brand’s conversion to Christianity is genuine.

Asked by The Telegraph if he regards Brand turning to faith as authentic, Grylls replied succinctly: ‘Yes.’

Speaking of Brand’s baptism, Grylls told The Telegraph: ‘He’s had a real journey in his life. You know what, whoever it is, you can’t only stand beside people who have had perfect journeys. It was for him a real moment of humility and repentance and genuine heartfelt finding of quite a faith in his life.’
