Three prisoners have been baptised at HMP Chelmsford after attending weekly Bible studies run by Daylight Christian Prison Trust.
“It was a very emotional service, and other prisoners attending were clearly moved,” said CEO Gaius Phillingham. Alex, Douglas and Hugh shared how God had worked in their hearts and lives.
Multiple baptisms at new church plant
Association of Grace Baptist Churches (SE)
Thirty people have gathered to witness the
constitution of Grace Church Walthamstow
in North East London, and the induction of
’Wale Akinrogunde as the pastor.
Formerly known as Church Hill Baptist
Church, the original church was founded
in 1633 and stood as the oldest Reformed
Baptist Church in London, but sadly closed
down
in 2014. It was agreed that efforts
should be made to replant a church in the
same building.
Swindon baptisms
Six baptisms at North Swindon Baptist Church (NSBC) in December, led to a reflection on the past few years of God’s work there.
Planted out of Swindon Evangelical Church in what proved to be an excellent partnership with The Association of Baptists for World Evangelism around 15 years ago, the first pastor came in 2009.
