Journalist baptised in Eastbourne
Alex Phillips, journalist and broadcaster on TV channel Talk, has been baptised in the sea at Eastbourne.
Interviewed live on Talk, Phillips said she had been going to church for four years, saying she had been wishing to be baptised for “so long”. She referred to God has her “vitamin G”. Phillips attends church in London. She was in tears after being baptised by Phil Harris, a vicar in the West Midlands.
Prison sees three ‘emotional’ baptisms

Three prisoners have been baptised at HMP Chelmsford after attending weekly Bible studies run by Daylight Christian Prison Trust.
“It was a very emotional service, and other prisoners attending were clearly moved,” said CEO Gaius Phillingham. Alex, Douglas and Hugh shared how God had worked in their hearts and lives.

constitution of Grace Church Walthamstow
in North East London, and the induction of
’Wale Akinrogunde as the pastor.
Formerly known as Church Hill Baptist
Church, the original church was founded
in 1633 and stood as the oldest Reformed
Baptist Church in London, but sadly closed
down
in 2014. It was agreed that efforts
should be made to replant a church in the
same building.
