It is a shame that so often churches do not hold together for too long. One of the positive features of our post-modern world is its keenness to stress human relationships.

Brian Hathaway's charismatic Brethren background comes through in his writing as he spells out all the 'one anothers' in the New Testament, and shows how God's priority in our churches are our relationships. His chapters on humility and team leadership are especially helpful, as are his smatterings of very practical wisdom throughout these pages, and especially in the appendices. A useful study guide is included which would help leadership teams work through it.
I found myself reading a section out loud at our last leaders meeting - to everyone's approval!
