Death of a guru
Don't turn East
DEATH OF A GURU

As many Westerners continue to turn towards Eastern religion for spiritual fulfilment, the re-publication of this classic testimony is welcome and timely.
It is the autobiography of the son of a Brahmin Hindu priest who was expected to follow in his father's footsteps. Instead he was dramatically converted to Christ and went on to share the gospel with many of those caught up in the drug culture of the 1960s and 70s. It is written to warn those tempted by the appeal of Hinduism which continues to make inroads into Western thinking through many therapies associated with yoga and vegetarianism.
The love of God is contrasted with the fearful influence of evil spirits linked with eastern meditation. The writer exposes all the irrationalities of Hinduism and points unerringly to a living relationship with the Lord Jesus.
