WOMAN TO WOMAN
Compiled and edited by Sylvia Penny

Christian women from all walks of life often have many plates to spin at once - managing homes, families, jobs and church activities all at the same time, with little time left over for themselves or the Lord. This book could be kept to hand for use in precious moments of quiet reflection as time allows - and enjoyed.

It is a compilation of 60 articles which first appeared in a magazine called Search, and are now published in one volume. Each one is short and interesting, and directed towards all women and their needs.

There are eight sections with headings such as Women in Scripture, Christian living, Husbands and wives, Raising children, A Christian perspective on modern-day issues, and the apostle Paul and women. Most of the articles have Scripture references and could be used as a focus for a personal quiet time, the basis for a group discussion or as a thought-provoker while hoovering around the house!
The book is nicely presented, about the right price for its size, and would make a very acceptable gift.
