This is one of a series of little booklets written by a Christian who was once a Muslim.

The booklets cover key questions that Muslims have about the Christian faith such as in this one, the reality and significance of Jesus’s death. Most of the book is taken up with establishing the reality of Jesus’s death, but the last part also sets out its biblical significance as a substitutionary and atoning sacrifice. The author uses arguments that may be unfamiliar to many Christians, but are designed to help the Muslim inquirer.

Although we must be careful not to think that Muslims can be argued into the kingdom, or that literature can be a substitute for personal relationships and service, this booklet would be great to give to a sincere inquirer from a Muslim background. Alternatively, it could be used by Christians to work out how they can respond to the usual objections to the Christian faith that their Muslim friend or neighbour might have. I liked the quiz at the end which serves as a test of one’s comprehension of what the booklet says. All in all, these booklets are an excellent resource to be aware of.
