Not everyone is a reader of books. Perhaps the average soccer fan falls into that category. Yet such folk still need God's truth for their lives.
Becoming a Premier League Husband is a short audio tape which sets out to bring basic Christian teaching on marriage to non-reading men in a punchy and accessible way. The six points covered are: gaining your wife's respect; leading by unselfish love; winning your wife not the argument; sport, work and wife; sin spoils sex; keeping your wife beautiful. It is not simply a sermon on tape. It is short and the voice is heard against a constant background of music.
The sometimes corny football metaphors and bouncy soundtrack will not appeal to everyone, but the teaching is simple and biblical, and could be just right for some.
