These two books are part of a series of six children’s books written by Derek Prime. They are designed to be read to five and six-year-olds and to be read independently by seven to ten-year-olds.

The Bible teaching within these books is extremely clear and direct and each book is on a specific subject — Sarah and Paul go back to school deals with the Bible and God, and Sarah and Paul go to the museum teaches about the Ten Commandments. Following each chapter there is an activity section appropriate to the teaching that precedes it.

The content of the books is excellent for five to seven-year-olds, but eight to ten-year-olds might find them a little patronising. They could profitably be serialised during a midweek meeting or Holiday Bible Club.
