God is using the Grace Baptists and building their mission. At the beginning of the 1970s, the then Strict Baptist Mission was involved in only one area of work in India. With the closing of the overt missionary door in that country, the very future of the mission was questioned by some. Then came radical changes. The name was changed. The mission merged with Baptist Radio Crusade. The churches in India must be given into the hands of local Tamil people. The mission must simply become a facilitator through which local churches could send out people.
All this has led to a flood of missionaries going out through GBM. By the end of the 1980s GBM was vitally involved with a seminary in Colombia, teaching and evangelism in Switzerland, Kenya, Austria, France, Peru, and Italy, literature work in Poland and gospel witness among Muslims in France and the Middle East - not to mention the continuing radio work! The work is still expanding into Latvia and Spain. Buy the book and catch the vision!
