This short rebuttal to The Da Vinci Code starts by giving a brief tour of the novel for those who haven’t read it, and perhaps don’t want to. This gives a flavour of why the book has caused such a stir.
The central section deals helpfully with the main errors of The Da Vinci Code. Here nine claims made by the novel are set out against the facts from Scripture and historical research. There follows a good section showing that from earliest times the church accepted the four Gospels we have in the New Testament, and why the gnostic gospels are not to be relied upon.
For those who want to know what the fuss is all about, but don’t want to get into reading a fully-fledged book on the subject, this brief and snappy booklet is just the ticket.
