The author, an Egyptian Christian, explains many of the misconceptions that Muslims generally have about the Bible by first giving an overview of the Bible, then proving that the Bible has not been changed.

He even includes a couple of quotes from Muslim scholars to disprove arguments that Muslims often use to try to discredit the Bible. He moves on to the crucifixion, pointing out the many prophecies in the Old Testament and their precise fulfilment in the New Testament. He points out that Jews today don’t read Isaiah 53 ‘in their religious readings, nor in fact in their commentaries’, because it so clearly points to Jesus Christ as the Messiah.

It is in explaining the importance of the death and resurrection of Christ that the gospel is clearly explained. He spends ten pages explaining the Trinity in a way that is helpful to Muslims. This book is very clear and direct and also demonstrates a great compassion for Muslims.

This book will help the average Christian know how to share their faith with a Muslim, and is excellent for giving as a gift to a Muslim friend. From start to finish it’s clear that the aim is to explain the message of salvation in the Bible to Muslims.

The reviewer is a member of a Reformed, evangelical church, and an evangelist to Muslims for the last 15 years.
