Such a loss
EMILY - A CHILD IN HEAVEN

This is a very honest and moving account of the author's struggle in coming to terms with the stillborn birth of her second child. In a helpful way she shares her tangle of emotions on many occasions, especially in coping with relationships and meeting people after the birth.
Her evident faith and comfort from the Word are the key to her emotional healing.
My hesitation would be the emphasis throughout the book of Emily being in heaven. Whatever we may believe about babies going to heaven, I felt uneasy at the continual comfort drawn from this assurance when the Bible is not explicit. How-ever, at the same time the author does find comfort in the sovereignty of God and in his character.
To those going through such tragic loss, this could be a helpful book.
