HUMAN CLONING - RIGHT OR WRONG?
By Eryl Davies
Evangelical Press. 32 pages. £9.95 per pack of 10

Any Christian looking for a clear, concise explanation of what cloning is and why it is wrong from a biblical viewpoint need look no further than this inexpensive booklet with its striking cover photo of identical faces hung out to dry on the washing line!
Davies examines both the scientific advances and the social pressures that have fuelled the desire to clone animals and humans. He also gives a brief history of the roots and beliefs of the Raelian movement who claim to have already achieved human cloning - and why this claim is a lie.
Davies considers that cloning violates three main biblical principals - that human life begins at conception, that the human embryo has worth and dignity being 'made in God's image/ and that marriage is the proper context for the conception of children.
As a bonus, in view of the Raelian motivation for cloning as a means to achieve eternal life, Davies in his final chapter spells out the evidence that Jesus Christ can give eternal life. Apologetics and evangelism fused in one very useful booklet.
