France: Calvin’s 40th

Over 300 guests from as far afield as Indonesia, Brazil and the USA attended the 40th anniversary of the John Calvin Seminary in Aix-en-Provence early in September.

During this event, marked by public lectures with guest speaker Gerald Bray from Cambridge and a thanksgiving service at which Etienne Lhermenault, president of the National Council of French Evangelicals (CNEF) preached, the renovated classroom and library facility was dedicated. The cost of this extensive project has already been met by gifts from around the world. During the weekend representatives from the Reformed seminary at Kampen in Holland announced a partnership with Aix.
