This book deserves the enthusiasm of the foreword and the comments printed on the back from Jim Packer and others.
It is a fascinating account of the Cambodian Church before, during and after the terrible years of the killing fields. It is lucid, moving and well written. It leaves one with a lot of thoughts to ponder. If God used severe mercies to test this church, why have we been spared in this country? And again, why have the Cambodians apparently learned little from their tragic history? I would say: 'Buy two copies. One to read and one to give away.'
